With the acquisition of Squaregain in 2005, Boursorama jumped to the number 2 position in retail brokerage in the United Kingdom. The sale of the B to B arm of Squaregain in October 2006 enabled Boursorama to focus on the B to C activities.
In Spain, Boursorama occupies third place in the market. With the Selftrade brand, the Group has experienced a strong growth in activity with more than 22,600 accounts and 276,000 orders executed in 2007.
The Group is present in Germany too: the acquisition of OnVista (online financial information portal) in 2007 has allowed Boursorama to centralize the activities within its core business.
