Take charge of your career development

Our collective performance depends on our ability to develop the individual skills of our employees. Our career management policy is based on a system of appraisals, exchanges of views and concerted reflection to help all employees develop their careers.
For executives, the scheme (called Personal Performance and Development, PPD) stresses personal development and sets performance targets.  
For the banking professions, the "Annual Appraisal" is the key to feedback between employee and manager.
Using these schemes, appropriate support measures can be put in place (specific training, skill development programmes, etc.), making sure that professional and personal development are focused on the needs of the individual employee.

Our internal promotion paths

To build up the skills and develop the careers of our employees, we have set up two internal promotion paths:

  • The Bank Profession Technician programme (TMB) which each year enables more than 320 registered employees to switch from one profession to another.
  • The Executives programme, which enables access to management posts after a two-year training period. In 2008 this programme, which is unique in the banking sector, enabled 122 successful candidates (out of the 283 registered) to switch from one function in the Group's businesses to another.
