Disability in the workplace

For several years now, Société Générale has been committed to helping the disabled overcome the difficulties they encounter in their working lives.
With the creation of the Department in charge of disability in the workplace, following the company agreement of 4 May 2007, Société Générale has allocated resources to this voluntary policy, deploying various mechanisms in the areas of recruitment, integration, training and maintaining disabled staff in employment.

The aims of the Department in charge of disability in the workplace

To recruit at less 160 disabled people between 2007 and 2010 (company agreement).

To help the disabled to stay in employment and improve working conditions through training, career management and adaptation of workstations, working hours and work vehicles.

To raise awareness and organize training initiatives for managers, human resources personnel and company staff.

To develop partnerships with companies which offer specially adapted environments allowing the disabled to work.

You are disabled and would like to apply for a position:

If you are covered by the 11 february 2005 french act for the professional integration of people with disabilities, you can, should you want to, declare your disabled worker status on the application form. Your application will then be directly followed by HR Dept in charge of disability in the workplace in order to ensure you a personalised follow-up.
