Registration modalities
The four steps of the recruitment process:
1st step
the application period
30/09/2009 - 15/01/2010
During this period, the candidates have the opportunity to apply online for the entrance examination (by clicking on the dedicated link on this page).
After the review of the candidates' applications by the General Inspection's Recruitment team, the selected candidates will be invited to participate in the 2nd step of the recruitment process, the written exam.
While fulfilling your application form, you will be asked to answer questions regarding your motivation: you can already prepare it before starting your online application ("What are your motivations for the Inspector position?", "What are your main interpersonal skills?", "Is the geographical mobility a constraint for you? " and "How do you imagine your career path within Société Générale Group?")
2nd step
written exam,
30th of January 2010
This step is divided into two parts (a synthesis and a quantitative test) in French or in English.
The test does not require any preparation, or any particular mathematical or banking knowledge. It is designed to allow SG to apprehend the candidates' abilities for synthesis and analysis, which are both essential tools for the missions they will be working on.
3rd step
an individual interview with a Recruitment Advisor,
beginning of March 2010
This interview aims to identify the candidates' professional motivation and personal assets for the job.
4th step
Oral examination,
Mid March - end of April 2010
The candidate will have to present an exposé about a specific management case in front of a panel of Société Générale's senior executives and will answer various questions from the panel.
The results of the recruitment procedure will be communicated at the end of April 2010.
