Our philosophy

Our Group has 163,000 employees of 122 nationalities, operating in 82 countries and working in more than 150 professions covering the whole spectrum of banking and finance. The mixture of different cultural and professional backgrounds, the multitude of profiles and careers, and the wealth of skills and expertise create an environment that drives career development for everyone.

To support our growth, we have been actively recruiting for several years. This is reflected in our headcount: today there are 163,000 people in the Group, compared with 87,000 in 2002. The momentum is continuing: we recruited almost 23,800 employees on a permanent contract worldwide in 2008.
