Helping you take the first steps

We pay particular attention to ensuring new employees settle in well. When you arrive, we devote a half day to giving you all the information you need to ensure your successful integration within the company. You are given a dedicated welcome pack which contains all the information you need to get started (practical information, personal file, guides.).
A mentor, chosen from among colleagues in your department, personally accompanies you to facilitate your integration into your new work environment.
Within the first month of your arrival, an interview is scheduled between you, your mentor and the training manager, to establish your personal training programme.
This interview will be a useful occasion to exchange ideas and:

• give you a presentation of the bank's training programmes
• review your wishes in terms of training and specify your needs in relation to your job function 
• identify the training programmes to be set in place in the first 6 months after your arrival.

Training programmes to perfect your profile

Throughout your career within SGBT, you have access to various technical and behavioural training programmes that are adapted to your activity. The programmes are developed with the help of top specialists in your profession, universities or renowned training institutes.

In fact, we have developed a specific training programme for those working in our securities business in collaboration with the IFBL, the Luxembourg institute of bank training. Furthermore, the Group has also set up a private institute which specialises in wealth management training.
