The Equities and Derivatives Division serves investors and corporate clients or trades on many different markets and while trading underlyings across the planet. Delivering local solutions to growing client base in the world’s financial capitals, we constantly trade ideas and expertise among platforms from Paris to London, Madrid, Milan, Frankfurt, New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo… New markets are opening up in Asia, Europe, the Americas and Eastern Europe. New solutions need to be adapted. New products must be brought to market.
Drawing on our strong expertise and tradition for innovation, we have developed a wide range of derivative products to help clients optimize hedging of the various types of risks related to market operations and offer attractive and innovative investment products. Focusing on equity derivatives, our subsidiary Lyxor Asset Management is a recognized expert in hedge fund manager selection.

Volatility trading

Renowned for guaranteed and leveraged products, innovative alternative strategies in hedge funds and managed accounts, we benefit from the expertise of Lyxor AM. With over EUR 70bn in assets under management, the fully-owned subsidiary Lyxor AM offers a robust platform for the day-to-day management of over 150 major client investment accounts.
Flow and listed products
Vanilla and exotic options, warrants, trackers and digital options are created and managed to meet the client-driven demand for investment instruments. We issue more warrants and certificates than any other bank. Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking is a leader in Europe in ETF’s and #1 in warrants worldwide. In flow products we are a major player in OTC and listed options, convertibles and synthetic convertibles.

Derivatives Trading
You are based in one of our trading rooms, operate on behalf of the bank and have the opportunity to work closely with sales teams when pricing and hedging. In addition to running a trading book, you price products, research parameter modeling and implement trading tools with R&D systems available.
Derivatives Sales
You are responsible for promoting and selling Equity and Derivative products from a trading desk in one of our cells of excellence. You approach new clients, build stronger commercial relationships with existing clients and offer innovative financial solutions within a clearly defined geographical area and product segment. You also contribute to the development of new products with our financial engineering unit through marketing campaigns.
Financial Engineering
Given our constant focus on innovation, you can be certain that any profitable project you propose is studied carefully. As an integral part of the sales and trading team, you are the facilitator that makes finding solutions possible. Specializing in both product client segments, our financial engineers are experts in the legal, tax, accounting and financial issues that must be addressed when customized products are structured and priced.
Distribution-trading and cash/equity research
We are a premier provider of sales and trading services on 60 exchanges worldwide. Our proven experience on both primary and secondary European Equity markets ranges from agency broking (including ADRs), to block trades, convertible bonds, client order facilitation, primary placement and corporate and global program trading access.
In our pan-European Equity Research teams in Paris, London and Madrid, you follow more than 530 companies drawn from every key market sector. In close cooperation with other Société Générale specialists, SG CIB also delivers integrated Cross-Asset Research, which covers equities, credit, and equity derivatives, economics, fixed income, foreign exchange and commodities.
