As part of the IT arm of a major international bank, you reach around the world. Every day, you put information technology at the service of Corporate & Investment Banking lines of business in financial capitals, from New York to London, Hong Kong, Paris and Tokyo. Global systems management "follows the sun" across the planet, from region to region, to secure 24/24h, 7/7 operations.
You develop solutions and maintain IT tools for internal clients in our Equity and Derivatives, Fixed Income or Corporate Systems divisions. Your mission extends from defining functional specifications with end users to satisfying functional and technical requirements. You ensure solutions comply with our general architecture and technical strategy in partnership with production and support teams.
Working on dedicated applications in close collaboration with front and back office users, you provide functional and technical support. You define and monitor user requests for the development of existing information systems in partnership with the development teams. Beyond new release testing, systems' checks, documentation and user training on existing applications, you are involved in the general launch of new systems.
Through the close analysis of end-user needs in cooperation with IT and business line managers, you identify requirements for the functional specification and modeling of new IT developments. You are involved in the developments' testing and approval phases, draft commissioning memos and help to steer through the process of changes.
You lead the development of increasingly high performance information systems in close cooperation with internal clients and management, thus ensuring that IT systems are defined, developed and implemented in line with our business strategies. Within this international environment, you are required to deliver tools for the global management of market activities by front, middle and back-office professionals. Your responsibilities extend from establishing initial project requirements, analysis and functional specification to the organization of project teams and follow-up of tasks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
You need the know-how to take a global view of the interfaces and interactions between systems and applications. Your mission consists of the definition and pilot development of systems structures to meet the current and future needs set by our users and business strategies.
As an infrastructure engineer, you create synergies with the development team, recommend technical architectures, suggest new implementations and ensure their continuity by undertaking the appropriate systems maintenance. Beyond the technology, you are also directly involved in user support.
