Your environment
Join as a VIE Société Générale Group in Singapore! You will integrate a vibrant team of 5 people in the Middle Office - Product & Control department of Société Générale Bank & Trust Singapore, which is the Regional Hub of SG Private Banking in Asia.
Your role
During this VIE, you will achieve the following assignments:
Monitor and control the pricing feed of financial instruments, derivatives and exchange rates daily and regularly in terms of completeness, reliability of sources, variations and frequency;
Ensure the data integrity and adequate input controls of all data entries and interfaces of the following systems: Triple A system, Kondor Plus system;
Perform related Permanent Supervision Procedures and complete OpeRA report timely for submission to Management;
Review and enhance the procedures and processes of re-valuation instruments, and instruments data quality in systems;
Undertake studies to enhance OTC derivatives pricing architecture, and participate in related enhancement pricing projects including constant adaptation of pricing macros to suit business needs;
Participate in any other related initiatives, assignment or project works assigned;
Manage relationships with external providers for securities and derivatives pricing.
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Singapore is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months. You will receive an allowance to complete Ubifrance allowance.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Ubifrance’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
Your profile
With a degree in Business with a focus on Finance and/or Accounting, you have a previous experience in a banking environment, preferably with exposure to derivatives, securities or other financial products processing, valuation and reporting.
You speak English fluently. You are conversant with Microsoft professional, Visual Basic and Access.
You are proficient with development of macros using Excel and VBA.
Creative, with an innovative spirit, you show good analytical and communication skills, essential in this activity.
Reliable and quality-oriented, you feel at ease in a high pressure environment, with an important exposure to risk, due to new products and their variations.
Moreover, you must have a depth team spirit to cover each members on assigned operational duties and functions in a cohesive and harmonious manner to provide quality support at all times.
