As an Account Manager, you will be a key go-between with a clientele consisting of institutional investors.
You will carry out the processing and monitoring of delivery-settlement operations initiated by your department’s clients.
Within this framework, your duties will notably include the following:
- Cash / Securities clearing: you will send instructions to the delivery/settlement departments once securities and cash provision control has been carried out.
- Making contact with clients and counterparties to ensure that operations are satisfactorily settled.
- Transmitting reporting within the given timeframe: pending operations, portfolio statements, cash account statements, account closure, billing.
- Being responsible for all client questions in collaboration with the other departments.

By joining our teams on this business line, you will work on a daily basis with a foreign (mainly English-speaking) and French institutional clientele.
Your main missions will be to inform clients about Securities Transactions that have an impact on their accounts, follow-up their responses and process their instructions within the given timeframes.
Whilst permanently monitoring clients’ positions, you will also ensure the settlement of operations, the processing of suspense operations and client claims.
Your rigour and ability to analyse will enable you to contribute efficiently to this department where the financial stakes are high.
Your overall mission will consist in supporting the development of our Securities Lending and Borrowing activity.

You will supervise and ensure the processing of international Lending – Borrowing operations (validation and confirmation of transactions, settlement, margin calls, reporting, resolution of common problems), cash operations and FOREX operations. You will also be responsible for the reconciliation and processing of suspense transactions and cash as well as the monitoring of client accounts and accountancy management reconciliations. You will also keep the references of the tools made available to you updated.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for internal projects that notably concern the rationalisation of procedures and the development of new activities.
You will work in close and coordinated collaboration with traders, IT support and various other SGSS staff.
As a Research and Development Engineer, you will work directly on our tools and software, depending on your level of expertise and your knowledge of various technologies (C++, J2EE, EAI). At the very heart of our activity, you will develop solutions to meet users’ requirements. You will draw up the technical specifications and estimate costs and timelines.
You will work within a team, and will be the main go-between with Project Managers, Integration/ Support and Production teams as well as Approval teams.

Within a Business Analysis team, you will work on projects specific to our business line applications.
Key go-between with players from our back and middle offices, you will note their requirements and be responsible for the research, design and write-up phases of the functional specifications required for application evolutions to be implemented. Within the Clearing Custody and Trustee Agency’s Client Middle Office, you will be in charge of a team of 7 to 10 account managers who process all financial operations that impact our clients’ cash and securities accounts. As a Manager, you will manage your department by implementing all the necessary means (human, technical, organisational and procedural) to ensure that operations are processed following optimal conditions of quality and profitability.
On a daily basis, you will supervise the sending of reporting to our clientele and the processing of suspense operations and, in collaboration with the relative departments, will monitor risks, client profitability and sales relations.
Your closeness to operations will enable you to be proactive and contribute to improving our service offer.
Within the Clearing Custody and Trustee Agency’s Investor Relations department, you will assist the sales reps with their actions vis-à-vis our prospects by providing them with your business line expertise.
You will manage a portfolio of the Agency’s institutional clients (Local or Global Custody). You will organise client meetings, and set up and monitor action plans. You will also suggest evolutions for our offer.
You will participate in organisational and IT projects that have an impact on our client services.
Your self-assurance and sales sense will enable you to develop a preferential relationship with your contacts.
You will belong to a dynamic team and be in charge of the valuation of any type of financial instruments held in the portfolio of French and international funds (shares, bonds, swaps, options, futures…). You will keep the accounts of these funds, establish financial statements and other reportings for asset managers and other institutional investors. The successful candidate will have a two or three years’ education in the field of accounting/ controlling. You are a junior or already have a first working experience within a Back Office Department which improved your skills in this field.
