An actuary is an in-house consultant. He/she evaluates the number and type of engagements and assesses the profitability of activities. He/she intervenes upstream from the creation of contracts to perfect the risk rating and can also perform asset-liability management.
You help to set up methodologies and tools for calculating reserves for outstanding claims, and monitor the actuarial control of these reserves.
