UK Staff Diversity Project

In 2008 a Sponsorship Committee was launched to promote diversity across Société Générale UK, with the aim of providing greater opportunities for interaction among staff.  After extensive research, a variety of networks evolved to address the diversified needs of our workforce such as the Multi-Cultural Network, the Women's Network and the Family Network.

       

Across Societe Generale, we aim to attract the best talents regardless of gender, nationality, religion, disability or sexual orientation, and it is important to promote forums where staff can engage with peers and colleagues to share and benefit from one another's experiences.  Under each network, regular business, cultural, and social events are organised providing platforms for these purposes.

The Diversity Policy aims to:

  • Seek out and recognise all talents that will help enhance the company
  • Provide employees with the appropriate integration necessary to fulfil their potential
  • Ensure the development and promotion of all talents equally
